Do You Believe In Non Violent Warfare?

Non-violent warfare sounds like an oxymoron. However, by conditioning your statement to say economic warfare, then I get your drift. It is like applying sanctions on an unruly partner. My take is just the opposite, though. The cartel can apply high prices to us but we can refuse to buy from them. In an economic war over oil, I believe that America can survive longer than they can. They rely upon our money to keep their interests afloat. We can take care of ourselves if we will put our effort into doing so. They cannot take care of themselves without our istance. That is the supreme irony of this whole situation. They treat us poorly in return for living off our purchases. I am willing to pay $8/gal. if it is U.S. oil that I am buying. We can set aside the environmental concerns and use our oil in Texas, Oklahoma, California and Alaska. We don't need them. They will come around very quickly when we quit buying their goods.
