Has anyone with hashimotos tried taking armour thyroid?

I have been dealing with this for more than 3 years now, I was on levoxyol for about 2 years with no results. I had gained 75 lbs. and no luck in losing despite exercise and diet. I am the mother of 5, all teenagers, and am having a hard time keeping up. I have switched to the armour and lost about 12lbs in 2 months. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any luck to this problem. Most people just look at me like I'm fat, but I was always really small, and am having a hard time dealing with this extreme weight gain. I am also taking cenestin, due to early hysterectomy. Any suggestions or words of wisdom?
