Ipod Water Problem! What do I do?

I was doing the dishes tonight and I must've gotten some drops of water into the bottom of my ipod 5th gen, video. I didn't have any pockets so I kept it tucked into the waistband of my pants, headphone jack facing down, and the cable slot left up. Anyways, I got that "Firewire cannot connect, try USB included. Press Center to Dismiss" message. What do I do? It didn't get submerged or anything, probably just a few drops of water.
