Is this good for Mark Twains: "Huckelberry Finn"?
"Twain challenges the accepted ideas in society of the day with this quote. He uses the contrast between day and night to highlight this. Although Huck Finn steals food at night to get by and this is wrong, the greater atrocity is found in the fact that the white’s stole the humanity from their slaves in the brightness of day for all to see. Twain also uses hypocrisy to his advantage through the words of the widow when she criticizes Huck’s theft even though she owns slaves. The hypocrisy makes the reality of slavery more evident and society much more of a farce."
