Question related to metonomy...kinda...?

Well, I guess that if a boss is unhappy with the way a certain project is faring, he could get angry at the one that brings him the bad news. I'm sure that there are many instances in which you could find this type of action occurring. It's a normal part of life and social interaction to blame the one that makes you unhappy (directly).
