Somewhat old movie, involves prisoners trapped on an island.?

Not sure exactly how old it is, at least a decade or two, but there are 2 seperate camps of prisoners living on an island. One group is more civilized and lives in a fort, whereas the other group is comprised of more barbaric criminals, who have supplies dropped periodically from a helicopter/airplane. Anyone know the name of this movie? Thanks.
